【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60958describesaserial,uni-directional,self-clockinginterfacefortheinterconnectionofdigitalaudioequipmentforconsumerandprofessionalapplications.Itprovidesthebasicstructureoftheinterface.Separatedocumentsdefineitemsspecifictoparticularapplications.Theinterfaceisprimarilyintendedtocarrymonophonicorstereophonicprogrammes,encodedusinglinearPCMandwitharesolutionofupto24bitspersample.Whenusedforotherpurposes,theinterfaceisabletocarryaudiodatacodedotherthanaslinearPCMcodedaudiosamples.Provisionisalsomadetoallowtheinterfacetocarrydatarelatedtocomputersoftwareorsignalscodedusingnon-linearPCM.Theformatspecificationfortheseapplicationsisnotpartofthisstandard.Theinterfaceisintendedforoperationataudiosamplingfrequenciesof32kHzandabove.Auxiliaryinformationistransmittedalongwiththeprogramme.
