【摘要】:Thistestmethodestablishesastandardprocedureoftestandprovidesdatathatcanberelatedtotirestrength,butdoesnotmeasuretireperformanceorestablishspecificationortolerances.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftireplungerenergyrequiredtocompletelypenetratethetreadareaofaninflatedtireasindicatedbyarupture,lossofinflationpressure,suddendropinplungerforceorbottom-out.Thetestrequiresutilizationofalaboratorytestingmachinecapableofslowlypenetratingthetreadsurfaceofatirewithaplungerhavingahemisphericalend.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletopneumatictiresforvehiclesnormallyusedontheroad.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
