【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestopressure/vacuumreliefvalvesprotectingmarinevesselsystems,includingcargotanks,thatmaybesubjecttogas/vapourpressureorvacuumoutsidethedesignparametersofthesystem/tank.Thisstandardspecifiestheminimumrequirementsforperformanceandtestingofpressure/vacuumreliefvalves,withemphasisonselectionofmaterials,internalfinishandsurfacerequirementsforpressure/vacuumvalvesinstalledoncargotanksintankers(seeannexA).Thisstandardspecifiesdesignandin-serviceperformancecriteriaandoperationaltestingandmaintenancerequirements.Thisstandarddoesnotaddressdevicestopreventthepassageofflame.AdviceondevicestopreventthepassageofflameisfoundintheInternationalMaritimeOrganization(IMO)"InternationalConventionontheSafetyofLifeatSea,1997"(SOLAS);ChapterII-2,Regulation59,andIMOMaritimeSafetyCommittee(MSC)CircularNo.677(MSC/Circ.677)"RevisedStandardsfortheDesign,TestingandLocatingofDevicestoPreventthePassageofFlameintoCargoTanksinTankers".
